Just southwest of Fort Myers, Cape Coral is a part of the Fort Myers metropolitan statistical area. In 2021, it was reported that Cape Coral-Fort Myers employed 1,320 technicians.

The BLS also reported that the 2021 average pay for HVAC technicians in Cape Coral-Fort Myers was $50,270. Between the hot Florida summers and numerous restaurants and attractions, the Cape Coral-Fort Myers area has a great need for experienced technicians.
