Tradecraft Schools

Tradecraft Schools offers hands-on skilled trades training for students who want to build a career without spending years in a traditional classroom. Located in San Antonio, Texas, Tradecraft prepares students for entry-level careers in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing through focused six-week training programs.

Each program combines classroom instruction with extensive hands-on lab training, with approximately 75% of instruction conducted through labs, projects, demonstrations, and practical exercises. Students train in residential and commercial training environments built to reflect real jobsite conditions and learn directly from master and journeyman tradespeople with field experience.

Tradecraft students receive approximately $500 in trade-specific tools and equipment to use during training and keep after graduation, along with free lunch on every scheduled training day. Each program also includes OSHA-10 safety training to prepare students for real-world jobsite conditions.

No previous trade experience is required. Tradecraft is designed for recent high school graduates, adults looking for a career change, veterans and transitioning service members, and anyone who prefers hands-on work over a desk job.

Beyond training, Tradecraft's career services team supports students with resume development, interview preparation, job-search strategies, employer introductions, and professional communication skills, helping graduates prepare to pursue entry-level opportunities in the skilled trades.
