The heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) program is designed to prepare you to pursue a career in less than a year(1). This program prepares students for entry-level careers such as HVACR technician, installation technician and refrigeration technician, just to name a few(2). In addition to learning various systems, you’ll prepare to test for certifications that are valued by the industry.
Working on HVACR systems requires an awareness of safety procedures, knowledge of heating and cooling, familiarity with tools used in the industry, and the ability to perform a variety of manual skills.
